Within three to six weeks of your donation, Tides Foundation provides you with an acknowledgment receipt that can be used for U.S. tax purposes. The Tides Canada fund or project receives the grant in four to six weeks in a Canadian dollar amount equivalent to your U.S. dollar gift minus the 2% retained by Tides Foundation. Guarding the Gifts is an initiative of the Tides Canada Foundation. As a registered public 
foundation, Tides Canada can receive and provide charitable tax receipts for gifts to Guarding the Gifts from individuals and institutions and direct them to support our Mission and Programs. Donations are accepted from both Canada and the United States. You can make a donation today through our secure online form, by mail, or by phone.

Become a Sponsor

One of the easiest ways to make a multi-year gift is to become a sponsor. Sponsors are generous donors who make a multi-year commitment to help Guarding the Gifts reach their goals. What is a Sponsor’s commitment? We ask sponsors to sign a five-year pledge agreement for $5,000, which can be paid in advance or in yearly installments of $1,000.
